is a Senior Designer at Jane Grace Design

In my own words:

“I’ve been designing homes for as long as I can remember. It began with houses for my Barbies built from books, and furniture for my brother’s G.I. Joes built from Lego. As I grew up, I began to design the parts of homes you couldn’t see on television shows in my head, and sketched floor plans as a hobby. I was obsessed with architecture and design, and knew it would one day become my career.

Even though my undergraduate degree was in Architectural Studies, after working and living in LA for a few years, I realized my passion was more about “the inside” of the building.  I went on to get my Post-Baccalaureate Degree in Interior Design at FIDM, where I met Jane. We quickly became friends, and realized that our very different design backgrounds meant we had complimentary skill sets, and so made an extremely knowledgeable and well-versed design team. We continue to learn from each other (and crack each other up) every day.

My goal as a designer is to create comfortable, livable spaces that function in the most efficient manner possible, specific to the needs of each client.”

I love:

Clean lines & cozy textures, running, the beach, breakfast food, my endlessly supportive family, the Outer Banks of NC, and to-do lists.

I draw inspiration from:

Nature, Movie/TV Sets, and Mid-Century Design - both theoretically and aesthetically.
